We were delighted to welcome so many mums, aunts, grans and even a few dads to our Mother’s Day service. Due to the snow closures, this couldn’t be held on the actual World Book Day but on the following week. Nevertheless, the children and staff looked incredible in their costumes and all enjoyed a range of reading based activities throughout the day.
Year 6 had a fantastic World War 2 Theme Day where they experienced a little of what it was like to be an evacuee escaping from the Blitz. The children, looking very authentic in their costumes, were evacuated to the Church Hall, where they were ‘adopted’ by local farmers etc to work on the land. Continue…
