OUTSTANDING SIAMS report
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we were judged as OUTSTANDING in all areas by a recent SIAMS inspection.
For those of you who are unsure what SIAMS is – it is an inspection of Church schools that focuses on the effect that the Christian ethos of the school has on the children and young people who attend it.
Inspectors judge schools against 4 key questions:
- How well does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meet the needs of all learners?
- What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?
- How effective is the Religious Education?
- How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school?
We are delighted that the inspector judged us as being OUTSTANDING in all of these areas.
To give a flavour of the report I have chosen a number of quotes from it:
School strives to ensure every child is excited to come to school each day and leave having enjoyed their learning, and been challenged to acquire new skills within a safe and secure environment which promotes the values and teaching of Christ.
Relationships between all members of the school family are solid and there is a tangible sense of Christian love and care for each other….. Children behave well and are polite and respectful.
