  6. A special visitor in school

    Baby Freddie came to visit us all in school today and brought his mummy, Mrs Shepherd Woodhall, with him. He was a massive hit with all the children, they were quite pleased to see his mummy as well!

  7. Ex pupil awarded the MBE

    We were delighted to hear that Alison Sykes was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. Her award comes as a result of her work with troubled families in the Dearne area – she is the leader of Goldthorpe Salvation Army.   9. Penalty Kings and Queens!

    Our children had a fantastic time yesterday when Barnsley FC came along to help us in a sponsored penalty competition.   10. Y3 green fingers at the Cenotaph

    As part of All Saints in the community, Year 3 were involved in the renovation of Darfield Cenotaph. They loved  planting a range of flowers at the base of the Cenotaph and will, no doubt, be bringing their parents along to view their handiwork.
