Back to school!

School opened on Tuesday 6th September and we are delighted to welcome so many new pupils to All Saints as well as those returning after the holidays.

We would also like to welcome a number of new staff members. Miss  Bedford and Miss Glyde will be teaching in Years 3 and 4, while Mrs Heatherington will be supporting learning in the Foundation Stage. We would also like to congratulate Miss Shepherd and Miss Shaw on their weddings over the summer – they are now Mrs Woodhall and Mrs Bamforth.

This year already promises to be very exciting and our first big event of the year will be the Roald Dahl day. This annual event helps promote reading whilst also supporting a very worthwhile charity – ‘Roald Dahl Marvellous Children’s Charity.’

To find out more about this worthwhile cause, click on the link below:

Half of the money raised will go to this charity while the remainder will be used to buy books to help promote reading in school. Staff and children will dress up as characters from the Roald Dahl books and parents will be welcome to join their children at the end of the day. Look out for more information closer to the event.

We are looking forward to another great  year for All Saints Academy and hope that you will continue to support us in all we do.
