  1. FS sports day

    Our youngest children (and their parents) enjoyed a traditional sports day on the school field. They competed in Olympic favourites like the egg and spoon race, sack race and the especially difficult ‘balance a bean bag on your head’ race before the parents had a chance to show off their sporting prowess!

    Darfield Cricket Club hosted the annual St Mary’s Academy Trust cricket competition and despite the threat of rain disrupting play everyone had a great time.     We had a wonderful day celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday. The children and staff all looked wonderful dressed in their red, white and blue as they gathered for a Birthday Assembly to mark the occasion.
