Pink Day for Breast Cancer
On Thursday 22nd October we had a wonderful afternoon raising both money and awareness for the fight against Breast Cancer. Thank you so much to all the parents who came and supported us in what was a very special afternoon. We are delighted to have raised AN AMAZING £557.13 – thank you to all for your generosity.
The 200 pink balloons looked wonderful as they were released into the blue sky – each had a very special message of hope or a precious memory attached.
Then everyone came into the hall to see an All Saints version of ‘I’m a Teacher. Get me out of here!’ with Mr Hawley, Mr Butterwood and Mr Walls doing the trials.
First up was Mr Hawley with the taste test – he manfully coped with delicacies such as crushed meal worms, then Mr Walls had the mystery objects to identify before Mr Butterwood had his legs waxed – very painfully!
