1940s Summer Fair… and a Dakota over Darfield!

What a fantastic day was had by all at our 1940S Summer Fair.

We were delighted to have the Fair opened by the Mayor of Barnsley and his wife.

The crowds loved listening to the singing of our George Formby tribute act, laughed at the Punch And Judy show, enjoyed the excitement of the races and stalls and were thrilled by the low level fly pasts by a Dakota. We were delighted to be able to invite the elderly residents of Thornhill House and some young adults with learning difficulties and their carers.

The sun shone and super memories were made.
